I think it is maturing; the megapixel race is slowing down - Canon was even so smart to reduce MP on the G11 in favor of IQ - and improvements shift towards more interesting things like high ISO, low noise, sealing, geotagging etc. that it actually has me thinking there is no point in waiting for another model before I replace my K10D. I am pretty sure I will do so once the K-r or K-5 - whichever I will ultimately choose - has had its first huge price drop.
