Here's a question for the peanut gallery: How long before someone makes a lens that *doesn't* have a focusing ring? For casual shooters who never take the camera off auto focus. Given the continuing drive to shave costs wherever possible, I'll bet someone does it. My money is on Canon for DSLR's and Panasonic for EVIL cameras.
