I feel your pain.

Last summer, 3 tomato plants and 1 cherry tomato plant; zero tomatoes--all the 
rest eaten by squirrels.

This summer, 3 tomato plants. 1 cherry tomato plant; 1 motion-sensing sprinkler 
to scare off the squirrels.  We've gotten about 20 small cherry tomatoes and 
there is -one- green regular tomato, about 2 inches in diameter.

Tell me about expensive tomatoes...
