I'm sure that the majority of the members of this list do not confuse
the maximum aperture of the lens with maximum image quality. I think
that Pentax designers would probably rather have a Very Good f/2.4
than a Good f/2. Don't know why anyone would be excited by another
35mm f2 anyway. The FA is already there for those that want it.

Besides, "fast" is relative. If your only lens is the kit lens, f2.4
is a nice improvement over your previous f3.5.
I don't see it being a big seller though, because most newbies aren't
going to want a focal length that falls within that of their kit lens.
