Rick, I saw it as well but didn't comment. I enjoyed it, but didn't have anything to add. The birch trunks were nice, well lit, and reminded me of a similar one we lost in the front yard. On further review, Chicago's climate is really on the fringe of the Birch's range. The bark and trunks are lovely and decorative, but they fall to desease to easily. We have a river birch in the yard now, very textured bark and better survival rates. But I still miss the white birch bark. Regards, Bob S.
