Nothing wrong with having a blog and as blogs go, yours is quite good. I've already picked up a nice hint from it (Matworks -looks interesting). I've had a blog (for my trip across Australia last year) and I might do it again for similar trips - more for a personal diary than for anyone else's interest (but, of course, they are welcome to look). Like you, I find Facebook and Twitter a mystery. I'm actually on Facebook for a family history account that one of my distant relatives set up - but I rarely go there and when I do I can't figure out what use it all is (OK, I'm an anti-social curmudgeon and a Luddite).
