I also have this Tokina 35-200. But I think I'm stuck with it. It is quite sharp, but (1) has a long turn distance for focusing, and (2) does not close-focus. Not at all. Would be a good lens for things like small events where you don't need but a little extra length. They go for almost nothing on eBay. $15-$35. Shame.
