I did enjoy it. Took the new road bike on a nice loop over the hill to the harbour, around a few bays then back via the Summit Road on the Port Hills. Stunning weather, perfect riding conditions. Plenty of hill climbing and beautiful views of the harbour on one side and the city, plains & mountains on the other. And very little traffic. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable ride. After lunch I spent a couple of hours on the front deck on our giant bean bag, relaxing with a couple of magazines in the sun. I might have a touch of sunburn now, whoops. I think they said aftershocks can continue for 6 weeks or more...
