If you have a CD-ROM burner, or a Zip drive, you could mail all of the files to one or both of them. If you have a digital camera that uses compact flash cards, you could send the whole set on a compact flash card, too. Lots of options exist for moving large files without the Internet. 700K is not too large to e-mail, just send one or two a day untill all are sent.
You could send the whole batch on the same weekend night. I've done 100MB downloads using a 56K modem. I just started the download and went to bed. Sometime the next morning the download was finished. I began my modem life using a 300-baud modem. Things have been getting amazingly fast ever since then. I've got a couple of volunteers (Christian S. and Fritz W.), but am just now figuring out how to send 16 jpg's of 700K out on my 56K modem. :-( What about some of our other members who are posting manuals? Would you want this one too? Regards, Bob S. - - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
