This is the Mississippi river, about 2 miles downstream of downtown 
Minneapolis.  It is just upriver from "Lock and Dam #1" (which is actually 
behind me on the other side of the bridge).

Specifically, I'm on the East end of the bridge looking over to the West.

Ooh, what luck!  The "Street View" looking off of the bridge is from autumn
