Steve,
Tell me about it.  I was sure Freshman and Sophmore year of college
that it rained all the time in Boston.  Then Junior year, I noticed it
rained mostly on the weekends and got clear for mid week.  I still
remember walking to class on windy rainy mornings when I arrived with
my front half soaking wet and my back side perfectly dry.  Go
figure...
