According to the information on the Adobe.com website, the Pentax K-x was first supported by DNG Converter/Camera Raw v5.6 and Lightroom v2.6. Photoshop Elements 7 (Windows) is compatible with Camera Raw v5.6 according to Adobe's knowledgebase page: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/408/kb408941.html So: download and install Camera Raw v5.6.
