I believe "Badger victory" refers to American college football.
The University of Wisconsin team are the Badgers and won a game with
Ohio State University last Saturday ... although I'm not sure how that
relates to a fall drive in Ohio since the game was played in Wisconsin?
We live in the Columbus area.
It is known, even locally, as The Cult of the Buckeyes.
It's like they deserve a national championship out of obligation,
as though the whole world revolves around Ohio State.
Use to be that way around here - Detroit/ Ann Arbor, Michigan - with the
Wolverines, the Unniversity of Michigan.
But not lately
Since I am originally from Wisconsin, it was pleasant to see.
