Why bother to focus? :-) I only used the lens extensively once. I took it with me, along with an MX, when I was working in Mexico about 9 years ago. It was a nice kit. I was able to stuff it in a pocket, which was the idea. I wanted to wander the city freely, without a camera hanging around my neck. Great lens when you need to go small.
