It didn't. I tried half a dozen cleans, with a nozzle check between each, to no avail. The black jets were 75% bloacked solid! Researching on the net, I found advice regarding the cleaning: it said do at least six cleans consecutively with no nozzle checking inbetween. I did seven for luck, it was much better. Did seven more, no nozzle check until the end, it was clear. I was beginning to panic - even checked on availability of Canon's new S9000 bubblejet!
