Many thanks, Brian!

I don't know why I didn't start a photo blog sooner. I've been using Flickr and Facebook for a while, and they both have their uses. But Posterous seems to be the best of both worlds, plus a little customization -- which is always nice. I like the fact that you can set a dark background as the default view, especially. I was never crazy about Flickr's lightbox view, since it scaled the images down considerably, and it does seem to cause problems with some folks' browsers.

And let's not even get started on the ungodly things Facebook's compression does to images. You'd think with all those disposable billions ...

Thanks again,

Walt

   Hi all,

Over the past several weeks, I've noticed that a few PDML'ers have been
using the Posterous blog platform, so I decided to check it out. I
actually like it a lot as blog platforms go -- exceedingly simple and
fast.

Anyway ... I set one up for myself and figured I'd solicit opinions on
the layout and my overall execution.

Please let me know any areas that could use improvement or a re-think of
any kind, if you have a moment to give it a quick perusal.

Good work on that. That "Pinstripes and Funk" is excellent - really
catches the mood. "Your Attention, Please" is equally good - great, in
fact, when viewed full size.

An excellent start!

Cheers
