Bill's message about Grandfather Mountain reminded me that I have not been able to do anything about organising a UK get-together. My life seems to revolve around driving, working, eating, sleeping, with small amounts of eating, family time, and finally ending the day pooped in front of a CRT dishing out nonsense. Goodness knows where I manage to shoot some stills in there.
Anyway, the upshot is that unless I can come up with a brainstorm idea that is cheap and easy to proceed with, I won't be able to do anything about a Grandmother London weekend. It just ain't feasible. If I take on something like this, I like to devote time to it and do it properly. I'm not one for getting the momentum going and then letting it roll of its own accord - things like that need steering! And I'd hate to let anyone down, so I'll take a rain check. IF HOWEVER another Brit wants to chip in here with an idea, I've still got leave left and will travel for a day's shooting or ????
