it's a good lens for the M8 because it covers much the same aov as the 90mm
tele-elmarit, which I also have and like very much, on the M3. The 90mm lens
on the M8 gives an awkward angle of view though, and is too long a focal
length for the framelines on the m8.

I haven't really figured out the framing of the 75/1.8 on the M8 yet though.
The framelines are notoriously inaccurate on the M8 at anything other than
the minimum focusing distance. I need to do some thought-out testing.

It's quite a big lens for what it is, but beautifully made, very smooth. I
also have a 28/2 Ultron and if anything the 75/1.8 feels even better than
that one. It's definitely soft wide open, but sharpens up quickly, and I
guess that softness is part of the cost of having that speed for that price
in an M-mount.
