This is one that always makes me wonder.  35 mm was clearly "the new
50", this lens was f2 with good optics.  The worst complaint was that
the focus ring felt sloppy, and all the FAs were guilty of that.  You
could get it around $300.  This was clearly a lens to have for the DX
format unless you wanted to invest in the 31.  I suppose I thought it
wouldn't go away, like the FA50 1.4 has hung around.
