i all.In my quest to be more creative in my photography i plan on experimenting with filters and some IR film soon.I bought a Tiffen #25 red today and have a procedure question. The book says to open up 3 stops with the filter, which is fine i think i understand now which way is open up(f11 to f5.6 is up correct). My ? is ,is it best to compose, focus, meter THEN put the filter on.Or do most of you install the filter then compose etc. The camera i'll use most for the B&W stuff is an S3 with clip-on meter so i'll have to adjust this meter reading.I havenot bought the IR film yet as they will not have stock until next week so i'll experiment on some Delta 400 this week. As always, thanks in advance. Dave
