Thanks for posting this. Pentax needs to sell cameras now. If Ned says that the price on the K-5 is going to drop $200 in a month, no one will buy one this month. When I started buying lenses for my K100 a couple years back, I didn't buy any lenses that wouldn't work with a 24x36 sensor because I was worried that a "full frame" camera would render them obsolete. Now, I buy the equipment that solves today's problem. The needle tracks up and down both of my arms spell out "fast primes", but my K-x will do better in low light with f/2.8 glass than my K100 did with f/1.8 glass, the K-5 better still. Pentax will get more low light benefit for their development dollar from Moore's law than they ever can hope to with fast primes. My guess is that they'll put their efforts into sharp zooms, possibly small, sharp zooms. The next generation of photographers may be buying cameras never having used a camera that hasn't had a zoom lens.
