"Time travel" is a misnomer. The person has travelled extra-
dimensionally. The communication towers are located in the universe
that is just to the other side of the invisible gateway between theirs
and ours.
Don't you people watch "Fringe", "Stargate: Universe" and "Warehouse
13"? For Pete's sake, open up your dimensionally challenged little pea
brains a soar!
