Paul:

I have two of these useful critters, but both came with eyecups
attached (although one eyecup size is larger than the other). Both
eyecup models are round, though, not teardrop-shaped. (And, the
inner part, which has to fit onto the Refconverter, is round, and
not rectangular, as in the eyecups that fit over typical camera body
eyepieces.)

I just took a look at the Ref-A owners "manual" (a folded leaflet,
actually), and the photos show what would seem to be the larger of
the two eyecup sizes I have. (I have no way of telling, at the
moment, whether the smaller of my two eyecups is "stock" or not.)

If it's of any use for you, the manual is actually for both the
newer Refconverter-A (which fits the M bodies and newer) (and which
is almost identical to the Refconverter-M) and the older
Refconverter-II (for the K bodies and older), and it would seem to
indicate that the same eyecup fits either one. So, maybe you might
sometime be able to come up with an eyecup that would fit by taking
it off an older Refconverter that you might be lucky enough to
stumble into cheaply... (It would be round, though, I guess.)

Both Ref-A's also came inside fitted leatherette cases, too - did a
case come with yours, Paul? (Oh, the joys of buying all of your
gear used - <g>.)
