My autofocus wouldn't seem to have any front/rear autofocus problems either. Those plus or minus two or three click adjustments are extremely small changes and aren't apparent in the focusing screen. But fine adjustment is worth the effort. I don't think any autofocus system is spot on with all lenses from the factory. The variation is generally in the lens construction, and I suspect that lenses change a bit over time with wear and settling of parts.
