Oh indeed. One may even say that gustum gustumi lupus est. I was merely pointing out my impression. I almost never pass a judgment of a picture that I am seeing unless specifically asked to do.

I see your goal and I've seen certain amount of photographs that use similar technique to achieve the effect you mentioned. I wonder what kind of shots I would shoot having mounted FA 20/2.8 on either MX or ZX-L of mine...

De gustibus non disputandum est. I choose to use the 12-24mm (the widest
lens I had there) at its widest setting on purpose. I find this pic
successful, at least for my intentions of putting an emphasis on the
writing while getting a good relation between the writing and the
passers-by.
