hate arguing...(and I d'n't think that you are too different in this)
Beside, I am not trying to defend my K20D sensor at all...I am too skeptical
for
this...I am just trying to understand how the opinion on it changes so
dramatically in so little time.
And, for the responses I got from you all, I think that i pretty make up my
mind
already. I think that it is the combination of three factors, that lead to this
result:
a) As you say, the K20D sensor probably wasn't as good after all.
b) When moving to the K-7, the made it faster but they worsened a bit other
aspects like noise and DR
c) The K-7 sensor is probably not that, that, that bad...;-) but competition
(and Pentax itself) has improved a lot precisely in its weaker areas, so it
seems much worse as a result.
So, the sum of the 3 factor have resulted in a 'perfect storm' for the K-7
sensor (and camera).
Does it make sense?
