   AFAIK C41 push processing is done not by prolonging the time, but
   by changing the temp.

   As to usability of pushing (ie increasing ISO sensitivity) of C41
   film, I must second your opinion - that is it doesn't work. I have
   seen plotted curves of pushed C41 800 film, and it was apparent
   that aside from fog level, nothing changed. Even though, I have had
   asked for "pushing" C41 film now and then, just because IMHO it is
   easier to print than normal but one stop underexposed C41 (even if
   the shadow detail is the same).

   As to B&W, here I think pushing is entirely possible, actually even
   increasing the sensitivity, depending on the toe curve of the film,
   though.
