it's extremely interesting. What's the story behind it? Was it taken by an automatic camera? I'd be interested in why the airman is out of focus and the planes in the background are not. It's very dramatic and brings the experience very close, unlike most other photos of that type of experience. I'm glad I've never had to do anything like that. There was a fascinating documentary on the BBC a couple of days ago about a French aviator of WWI who shortly after the war flew an airship the length of the trenches from the northern coast to Switzerland, and filmed what he saw. He and his wife were shot as Resistants by the Gestapo in WWII, leaving a baby daughter. The daughter saw her father's film, and him during the making of it, for the first time during the BBC show. It was extraordinarily powerful to watch. <http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00vyrzh/The_First_World_War_from_Abov e/> Bob -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
