The company my dad worked for from 1974 to his retirement in 1998 had several Thinking Machines supercomputers, CM-2s and IIRC later also CM-5s but I am not 100% sure on that bit. There was a long story around how they were spectacularly given up, I'll have to ask my dad but I remember very vividly how I used to admire their looks.
