My opinion is it /should/ work fine.  Reality however may intrude.

Wonder if i get a Windows laptop and use it with my old CRT monitor
that still works great. Thats if i want to stay with Windows i
suppose.

Any comments on working a new windows laptop with a 7 year old Samsung
Synmaster 753dd monitor and claibration etc.
