Steve,

Thank you for your informative posting, which I hope has not caused too much
domestic aggro!

I fully understand the logistics of organising such events as my life is a
rolling event: 3 children under 8 years of age and a wife with a full
business life who is constantly away. Just attending something I want to do
is often a problem as sometime children are not welcome; if they are not,
neither am I.

I joined PDML post September 11th, the world will never be the same, and it
is of course understandable that just jumping on a plane can ever be viewed
the same way. I started my working life in the city and many people
frequently had business trips to New York - the horrific events leave me
saddened profoundly.

Well to lighten the subject up (give it a go) I can say that your zoo idea
is nice, for both chatting/children and photography. My boys, had a joint
birthday party at Colchester Zoo and we invited a few friends with their
children, it was a belter of a day out, everyone had a great time and there
were many opportunities to take non-zoo related photos.

However, yes, going around the London Eye, a wander around London (by bus -
the upstairs of a Routemaster takes a beating for views), yes, PDML
sweatshirts/banners!!

Anyone else with views?

Thanks,

Malcolm
