Thanks, Ted, and thanks to Diane too! The rendering here is the result of a preset I made, then saved with a name, then applied to all these shots. I totally desaturated all colors except yellow, green, and orange--these colors were pumped way up; then I cut the clarity by half. I saved it as a preset, then applied to the remaining 4 shots. The preset is saved under User Presets in the Develop Module in Lightroom and can be used any time I wish.

I hope to improve my black and white rendering skills; I just bought the Beardsworth book Ralf suggested. I have one bw rendering preset I made, but that was made for a specific a group of shots, and it's nothing fancy. Cheers, Christine

I was enjoying this set when Diane said,"Let me see that." It was the Palace
Theater shot. We both liked it very much. My 40 pretty much lives on my K 7,
except when I am working with mulatiple fl's like when I took Walter on our
shoots. Even then, it was on the camera when we got out of the car at Picher and
my shot of the church was done with it.

What I liked about your shot was the color rendering... very nice. Would be
interested in knowing what presets you are using?
