I was looking at the Consumer Reports Buying Guide for 2011 for a purpose unrelated to photography. I looked at the digital camera ratings, just for fun. The K-7 is the fifth rated SLR, about equal with the D300S, which costs almost twice as much. The K-x was one of three SLRs rated as a "CR Best Buy."
