I have previously mentioned the movie "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow". One subplot is that out plucky reporter has a camera with one shot left. As the story gets stranger and stranger, she has to decide at what point to use the shot. My favorite line goes something like "All the animals of the world being loaded two by two into a giant rocket and you're going to wait for something better?"
Yeah, and the *VERY* best part is when she finally takes her shot ... with a range-finder ... and she's left the lens cap on!
