Subject: Hectic week...
Finally got settled from a hectic week of assignments and events...
1. Covered a special election in a nearby province--turns out to be a
boring event; low voter turn out but hey...this is about a year ago
when journalists were killed in another part of the country in
election related violence (Maguindanao Massacre). The highlight of
this had more to do with the fact I got to use the Pentax K-r (but I
can't show you the photos...).
2. Covered another government event south of the Philippines, again I
had the K-r with me and got to take some shots on the side:

3. Came home to the first ever Pentax stand alone display at a local
major mall. The local distributor is going aggressive with Pentax and
made a big splash introducing the K-r & K-5. Follow this thread to
