It's early AM here and Thanksgiving has come and gone.
We're all in tryptophan induced food comas or out of the house early
to catch bargains.
Things have really gotten out of hand with retailers.
They traditionally offer steep discounts on a limited number of popular items.
Today some were opening their doors at 4 AM to let the shoppers in.
The bargains will be sold out by 7 AM.

I think we had 18 for dinner last night.
The original count was 17, but my sister forgot to mention her son's girlfriend.
Lynn cooked a big turkey and our son Bill's father-in-law brought
along a smaller smoked bird.
Copious amounts of beer were consumed and a good time was had by all.

Lynn was born the day after Thanksgiving. (old jokes about too much
pumpkin pie...)
And this year, her birthday actually fell on Thanksgiving Day.
I'll have to arrange something special for her today.

I hope the rest of you in the US had a good holiday and are enjoying
Friday off of work.
I hope the coming holiday season will be a happy for all - worldwide.
It's a good time to be thankful for what we have.

Best Regards, Bob Sullivan
