Just in case anyone should be feeling sorry for themselves and worrying about the cost of photographic items they have recently purchased, allow me to raise your spirits. One of my 2 video camera batteries is crapping out at just over 2 years old. I have purchased a new one and - even with a generous 20 per cent discount from the European sales chief - it is costing me over 300 GBP. That's a battery. One.
