I was shooting at a new venue on Tuesday. I used a flash for this
photo of Aeriol:

 IIRC, the flash was aimed at the ceiling but I had the catchlight,
or whatever you call that white reflector that pulls out, pulled
out.

On this one, I meant to use the flash, but it didn't go off.  Other
than being several stops underexposed, I thought it was a great shot,
so rather than trying to correct the noise, I converted to black and
white, and enhanced the grittiness:

 There are a few more in the set that have potential, but I thought
that these were the two best.

The first one works better. The noise in the second one doesn't have quite the character that grain does in film.
