I put "criticism" in quotes because I didn't intend to be critical as
such, merely make an observation on a difference in our lives.
"Criticism" wasn't the word I wanted, but I couldn't think of a more
appropriate word at the time. Still can't for that matter.
I used to go out clubbing, and I enjoyed it.
As I've gotten older the opportunities for honky-tonkin' have gotten
fewer, so I don't do it much anymore. And all my running buddies have
fallen by the wayside.
And lately school takes so much, I don't have much energy left over for
partying. But if I found work photographing in the disco, I'd dig out my
ear plugs and have at it.

hey, it was part of the job. and as young as i am (although that
doesn't stop me from feeling oldish myself at times), i don't really
enjoy discos, or go there often, except when it's work
