Hi,

I'd like to say some words about the difference between K20D and K-5.
Often I do test cameras head-to-head i.e. I do use both at the same conditions simultaneously. This time I used the other way and abandoned my "old trusty" K20D for a three days. Completely. Simply took K-5 and got used to it. Then returned to K20D and (oh boy) there WAS a difference. Human mind is strange - it doesn't notice slight (and even not-so-slight) changes to better side, but if something goes a even bit worse... In short - K20D now feels noisy, slow and loud. Focusing with SDM-lenses hunts much more and is clearly slower (16-50, 50-135, 60-250). With screw-driven lenses (FA50/1.4, DA35/2.4, DA40 Limited etc.) the difference is marginal.
And still, K20D feels more comfortable in my hand than K-5.

BR, Margus

As part of my on-going K-5 review, I updated the focusing section:

My conclusions about focusing speed seem to differe from everyone
else's. Opinions welcomed!
