Heh. Yeah, I was going to amend my post with that observation...
It is a little bit freeing when all you can do is brightness,
contrast, and the "recovery/shadows". Still, it worked out well.
Punched up the exposure/contrast and they came out looking OK.
I still wish I could have shot this in color (well, more than one
color) but I got a few shots that I would call 'acceptable'

It would be a slightly better presentation if all of the images had an
explanatory caption instead of just some of them.
