I see no reason to 'wonder' about it. There are simply a plethora of different software products and updates to deal with.
The link I provided was to the main Updates page, which is not OS or product specific. If you choose Camera Raw from the popup menu and go there, you get a list of updates, Camera Raw + DNG Converter, through the various revisions for the OS platform you want.
