Hi,
just some remarks,
In russian, tsaritsa would be correct.
Catherine is foreign name for russians that have been adapted as Katarina.

How about "Catherine"? Tsarina is also cute and, for a cat, probably
appropriate.

how about looking for names of famous / historically relevant russian
church bells? I know many German church bells have names and many have
a long and well documented history so I'd think it would be much the
same for Russia

Hi Everyone,
We are about to buy a female Russian Blue cat and want a Russian name
for her. We are buying her with money earned from ringing church
bells for weddings and thought that a bell related name would be
appropriate. The only problem is that no one we know speaks any
Russian.
Is there anyone on the list who speaks Russian and can provide me with
the Anglicised spelling (and correct pronunciation) of Russian words
for "bell", "wedding", "church" and anything related that would make a
nice name for a Russian Blue cat?
Many thanks in advance.
Leon
