Interesting reenactment. Appears to be a serious effort very well recorded,

(if I may?)
Seriously, is the slightly soft look done in support of the era portrayed? I
downloaded one image and see ISO 100 and 1/60s on a shot from some distance and
on a somewhat less than bright day and scene.
Hand held?
I've deleted your downloaded image.

Jack, My K 7 was on the tripod and since the shot you looked at was ISO 100, I
know it was the K 10D with the DA 18-250. For me, that lens is soft no matter
what shutter speed I shoot it at. I was using the K 10D and that lens to have a
wide focal range, while I had the F 100-300 on my K 7 on the tripod. Neither of
these lenses are very sharp but that is what I have for longer focal length
work. Need to sell a bunch of work and make some $'s to get some good long
focal
length glass. Diane seems to think we need to pay the bills and eat more than
buying new lenses. I had the K 7 set for expanded dynamic range so it's base
ISO
was at 200. I almost always shoot at low ISO's in daylight. Guess it is a
holdover from the days of film.

Thanks for looking and commenting
