I performed the Dust Alert with the K20 and DA55~300. I got a debris field similar to the one I'm sending each time. I did the Dust Removal numerous times and all that happens is the debris is re-distributed. I went to my DA*50~135 and sensor appeared clean. I then tried another lens and found the Dust Alert grayed out and has refused to wake up. I open the 55~300 aperture and peered through it, out of frustration, but saw nothing floating around in there. :(
