Ken,
Recognizing that all monitors are different, mine renders this well composed 
image as glary bright in the open desert areas.
Trees "appear" to be overly saturated, but this isn't to say that was your 
doing. You had some really high contrast issues to render.
I looked at the image again this AM and don't seem to pick up on the  
unnaturally red creek cliff face that was so obvious yesterday. I imagine the 
bright areas to be a bit less so. Still, would like to see it generally more 
subdued. I suspect the sun angle was such that it caused you to shoot into its 
direct reflection.(?)
