The Musee Rodin in Paris was a disappointment. Philadelphia has the largest
Rodin collection outside Paris, but the sculptures are all bronzes. When we
visited the Musee Rodin in 1981, it was wonderful to see all of the great works
in marble.

Last month, though, the place was almost stripped--I have no idea why. It was
also jammed with people. So, my keenly anticipated sculpture shooting was very
limited. The building, though, has some nice bits.
