Last week I went to one of the local blues jams. The venue is very well lit, and I figured that I could use a flash without bothering people too much. I need practice using a speedlight so I mounted the AF540 on the K-x and started shooting. I quickly came to the conclusion that in low light using a flash makes it easier to get a decent shot, and harder to get a good shot. I then started playing with a slow shutter speed and moving the camera, or zooming the lens during exposure. I got a few fun ones, like the one above and this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/5288725804/in/set-72157625540290625/ But I suspect this technique is just going to be a tool to keep in my back pocket for rare special occasions. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
