Some of them really are just big kitties, but some of them are not. When I was in Florida a few years ago I made the time to visit Big Cat Rescue (where those kitties can be found). I was able to go into one enclosure, and make friends with a couple of the residents (two Lynxes). It was just like introducing yourself to a strange cat, but you had to be a bit careful; if a 30-40lb cat takes a dislike to you, you'll know about it! I was lucky that they both liked me - in fact they definitely took to my (leather) shoes, and I ended up with a cat upside-down rubbing it's head on my foot. The lions and tigers, however, were not at home to visitors. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
