I find it useful. It doesn't work on mail, or on most home pages, but
when you find an article you want to read, you just click the
Readability bookmark, and ads disappear and the fonts and margins
adjust to your preferences. Try it out.

sometimes i use the "Reader" feature in Safari, which implements a
similar concept; i am really good at ignoring ads, but i dislike pagers
whose sole purpose is to make more ad impressions as i work my way
through a long article; Safari's Reader does a great job folding
multipage articles into one
